What a tire shop gains by becoming a certified applicator

Most tire shops compete on the same list of jobs at the same prices, against every other shop within ten miles. Certification changes what is on your list.

Something the shop next door cannot do

Certified applicators hold an exclusive service area. Inside it, you are the shop that can apply the coating. That is a genuine difference in a market where most differentiation is a coffee machine and a faster fitting bay.

Work that comes to you

Customers looking for protection search by ZIP code. Approved applicators appear in that search, so bookings inside the territory arrive rather than being chased.

Exclusive territory is only worth something if the standard behind it is real.

It attaches to work you already do

The tires are already coming off. Surface preparation and application happen in the same visit, on the machines PP Teck trains you on, by the technicians you already employ.

What is required of you

Two machines, the application machine and the sanding machine, because the work cannot be done to the standard without both. Training at HQ. And a willingness to be held to that standard afterwards, because the warranty depends on it.

How the process actually runs

You apply with your business details and the area you want. PP Teck reviews it, then runs a due diligence review with you directly, and some of that happens outside any web form. Approval is at PP Teck’s discretion, and it is followed by training and then by going live in customer search. There is no application fee and it is not a franchise.

In short

The network is being built from the ground up right now, which means territories are still open. Early applicators hold theirs first.
